Tell us about your role at Catalynt:

As VP of Sales, my role is to lead and empower our national sales team by providing them with the tools, strategy, and support needed to drive growth. I focus on optimizing sales processes, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring that our team is equipped to deliver exceptional value to both customers and suppliers. Additionally, I work closely with leadership to develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with Catalynt’s vision for long-term success.

About your education or work experience:

B.S. Chemical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in ’03 Minor in Business Economics. Worked for an engineering consulting firm where we provided chemical engineering, process engineering and environmental engineering services. Transitioned in chemical sales in 2005 as an Account Executive for specialty chemicals in the Plastics and Elastomers industries until I became a Product Line Manager for several categories of plastic additives. Joined TR International, Inc. in 2010 as a Business Development Manager. Created a new department to focus on organic growth and adding value to both our suppliers and customers through strategic marketing and sales campaigns. Promoted to Regional Sales Director in 2013, where I lead a team that consistently drove revenue growth for over 11 years.

What sort of hobbies do you have?

I enjoy staying active by playing tennis and going to the gym. Traveling with my family is another passion—we love immersing ourselves in new cultures and experiences. Living in Nashville, I also appreciate the city’s vibrant food and music scenes.

What is your favorite thing about working at Catalynt?

The company culture. Catalynt fosters an entrepreneurial mindset and a “can-do” attitude, creating an environment where people take ownership, innovate, and push boundaries to achieve success.

Other than appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you?

That I’m an extrovert who genuinely enjoys engaging with people. I thrive on meaningful conversations and connecting with others, whether it’s customers, colleagues, or new acquaintances.

What advice would you give your younger self if you met yourself as a kid?

Learn to be present and truly enjoy the moment—life moves fast, and the journey is just as important as the destination.

Speak another language fluently.
