NPE is a white paste that is soluble in water. It is a surfactant product that is produced from nonylphenol. Nonylphenol’s and NPEs are mainly used in household and commercial products. Uses: In personal care, laundry products and cleaners, floor and surface cleaners, in industrial cleaning processes, and used directly in some products to help keep other slightly soluble or insoluble materials in solution.
