We are proud to share the recent news that TRI was recognized on the Washington State’s Fastest Growing Private Companies list of 2021 by the Puget Sound Business Journal.
According to the PSBJ, “The Puget Sound Business Journal’s 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies expanded their businesses tremendously amid a pandemic.
On average, these companies grew revenue 117.91% between 2018 and 2020. More than a quarter of companies on The List at least doubled revenue, with some increasing revenue by more than 1,000%.
Construction, consulting, real estate, financial services, technology and e-commerce were among the most common industries on our Fastest-Growing Private Companies List, but industries like staffing, engineering, manufacturing, marketing and many others also appear. Half of the companies on The List were not on it last year, showing new growth.
A little less than a third of the Fastest Growing Private Companies are headquartered in Seattle, a percentage that has declined over the past four years. More companies — at 37% — were located on the Eastside, including 24 in Bellevue. Kent and Kirkland were the next most popular headquarters cities at seven and six companies, respectively, among the 100 Fastest-Growing.
To qualify for the List, companies must be headquartered in Washington state, privately owned, report at least $500,000 in 2018 revenue and increase revenue between 2018 and 2020. Company executives must also provide written verification of the reported revenues.
The ranked list will publish in the Oct. 29 edition of the Business Journal and online. Companies on The List will be celebrated at the 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies virtual event on Oct. 28.
