TRInternational, Inc. (TRI) was founded in 1994 by Anthony Ridnell when two former co-workers from a previous employer joined him at his house in the Seattle, WA neighborhood of Leschi. They wired phone lines and computer cables under the house, connecting a spare bedroom with a den and commenced operations. Each time an order was put together, they would take out a brass horn and walk onto the deck overlooking Lake Washington and blow feverishly. Times have changed for TRI!
TRI counts six regional offices throughout the USA, a business development office in Alberta, Canada, a sourcing office in Shanghai, China, and global trading offices in Dubai, U.A.E. and Delhi, India. TRI is an active member of the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) and participates in the Responsible Distribution verification process and has twice received recognition as one of the fastest growing privately held businesses in Washington State.
The 20 years between these two snapshots in time have shown a measurement of hard work, consistency, unparalleled ethical standards, and commitment to taking care of employees, customers, and suppliers.
