SEATTLE, Wash. August 16 – TRInternational, Inc. (TRI Chemicals), a global chemical distributor, announced today the addition of Jon Hughes as TRI’s Mid-South Regional Sales Representative, effective August 6, 2018.
Jon is joining us in our Houston location, where he will focus on expanding the customer base by building and maintaining relationships throughout the Mid-South. With the guidance of our Regional Sales Directors and our CEO, Jon will expand his knowledge through product and prospect research with a focus on surveying customer needs and trends to identify new product opportunities.
A graduate of Southern Nazarene University and a native Texan, Jon has over 30 years experience in composites and 12 years in the oilfield. A licensed pilot and flight instructor, Jon is competitive by nature and enjoys physical fitness, especially a good “mud run.” His knowledge in multiple fields and his personal drive and dedication will serve him well at TRI.

Jon will be working directly with our Mid-South Regional Sales Director, Chris Karber, who has extensive knowledge and technical understanding of the Oil & Gas Industy – most specifically Drilling & Completion Fluids & Pressure Pumping & Drilling processes and products. Chris shared that “Jon has a wonderful reputation in the chemical industry and it’s exciting to have him join team TRI so we can have local representation and build deeper relationships in Texas, in an effort to provide the best service possible.”
