Edmonds, WA – Seattle, WA – August 15, 2024 – Catalynt Solutions, Inc. (formerly TRInternational, Inc.) proudly marks its 30th anniversary, celebrating three decades of resilience, service, and leadership in the global supply of raw materials and ingredients. Over the past year, Catalynt has not only embraced its rebrand but also completed two strategic acquisitions, further strengthening its market position and expanding its service capabilities.
On December 13, 2023, Catalynt finalized the acquisition of American Chemie, Inc., a specialty chemical distributor based in Austin, TX. This acquisition enhanced Catalynt’s already comprehensive product offerings by adding specialty chemistries that cater to a wide range of industries, including personal care, cosmetics, cleaning, food, feed, nutraceuticals, and lubricants. The addition of American Chemie allows Catalynt to serve these industries with even greater expertise and product variety.
Earlier in the year, on July 31, 2023, Catalynt acquired ChemBlend of America, LLC (CBA), a custom manufacturer located in Bensenville, IL. The acquisition reinforced Catalynt’s commitment to providing value-added services and innovative solutions to its customers. With over 120 years of combined staff expertise in formulating, manufacturing, testing, packaging, and distribution, the team in Bensenville brings vast production capabilities and technical knowledge in that spans across many industries. This acquisition allows Catalynt to offer customers greater opportunities to enhance their operational efficiencies, reduce labor costs, and improve purchasing power—all while maintaining strict confidentiality and consistency in proprietary manufacturing requirements.
