Diethylenetriamine

Also known as DETA, is a colorless, hygroscopic liquid that is soluble in water and hydrocarbons. It has a similar chemical behavior as ethylene diamine and has similar uses. It is a weak base and its aqueous solution is alkaline. Uses: A solvent for sulfur, extraction of acid gas, in explosives. CAS# (111-40-0)
