Calcium Carbonate is a common substance found as rock and is the main component of the shells of marine organisms, snails, and eggshells. Uses: As the active ingredient in agricultural lime, in medicine as a calcium supplement or antacid, as an exfoliant, to make food and cosmetics whiter, a filler in deodorants and used in many personal care products.
